Government Polytechnic, Jhansi is an establishment of Government of Uttar Pradesh affiliated to Board of Technical Education UP under the flagship of Uttar Pradesh Technical Education Department. The institute started in 1958 and have successfully certified the diploma to many of its pass out batches thereafter.
The institute is recognised and affiliated with All India Council of Technical Education, New Delhi and is also enlisted in the AISHE portal also. Government Polytechnic Jhansi provides Diploma courses in Civil, Electrical, Electronics and Mechanical (Automobiles).
The premises of the institute lies at Jhansi Gwalior Road and is around 3.5 Km away from Jhansi railway station and 7 Km from the Bus stand.
